The Righteousness of God

"Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe." (Rom. 3:21)

"Seek ye first the kingdom of God and HIS righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you." (Matt. 6:33)

Apparently, the righteousness of God has everything to do with our salvation, (justification, sanctification), and we ought to seek it by faith. Our faith has to be God oriented, and future oriented, and our hope should be in His coming kingdom. "Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven."

So it is clear that we ought to hope for the coming of his kingdom (Col. 3:1-3), and also seek His righteousness, his forgiveness, and his salvation. And if we do so, all that we need is added unto us.
